SALARY: Circa £50’000 overtime 6-8k bonus scheme

We are adding to the already successful team and searching for a Software and Controls Engineer.
Software and Controls Engineer - key skills:
- Working with PLC’s and HMI’s plus knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens is essential.
- Knowledge of EPLAN is advantageous but not essential.
- Hands on approach is absolutely key.
- Inputting electrical software systems for new bespoke machinery plus required maintenance, servicing and repair.
- Customer exposure - working with customers on site and managing expectations and delivery. Maximum 25% working offsite throughout UK and Europe.
- Thorough admin and reporting skills.
- The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter.
- 3 years minimum experience as an Electrical Engineer (Software/Controls focused) or as an Electrical Software and Controls Engineer.
- Educated with a recognised apprenticeship.
- Ability to balance many tasks at the same time. Time management is key.
- Positive attitude and manner.
- Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationships.
- Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.
- Working with and supporting cross departmental – design, engineers, purchasing, shop floor.
- UK driving licence is essential. Willingness to travel UK and Oversees.
